Nintendo invited us to their Family Game Night at San Diego Comic Con 2019 and we were excited to see what fun games they had in store for their spectacular Nintendo Switch! The night was filled with demos, photo ops and food. As a Nintendo family, we ready to get our game on!
Here’s a list of games to look out for this holiday season. My personal favorites are Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Luigi’s Mansion 3!
Super Mario Maker 2 – Mario fans of the world, unite! Now you can play, create and share the side-scrolling Super Mario courses of your dreams in the Super Mario Maker 2 game, available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch system. Dive into the single-player Story Mode and play built-in courses to rebuild Princess Peach’s castle. Make your own courses or team up with a friend to make some together. And with a Nintendo Switch Online membership, share your courses, access a near-endless supply of courses made by others and enjoy online multiplayer. (Available now)
MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order – Assemble your ultimate team of Marvel Super Heroes from a huge cast including the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, and more! Team up with friends to prevent galactic devastation at the hands of the mad cosmic tyrant Thanos and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order. MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order will be available tomorrow, July 19.
Luigi’s Mansion™ 3 – Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be available October 31.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening – Link has washed ashore on a mysterious island with strange and colorful inhabitants. To escape the island, Link must collect magical instruments across the land and awaken the Wind Fish. Explore a reimagined Koholint Island that’s been faithfully rebuilt in a brand-new art style that will entice fans and newcomers alike, and battle enemies and uncover the hidden secrets of the island. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be available September 20.
Pokémon™ Sword & Pokémon™ Shield – A new generation of Pokémon is coming to the Nintendo Switch system. Become a Pokémon Trainer, embark on a new journey in the new Galar region, and unravel the mystery behind the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta! Explore the Wild Area, a vast expanse of land where the player can freely control the camera. And participate in Max Raid Battles in which players will face off against gigantic and super-strong Pokémon known as Dynamax Pokémon. Both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will both be available November 15.
