Cooking in the kitchen with a 3.5-year-old as your sous chef can get a bit messy at times. I found the perfect solution at TOOCUTEbyJeanette—Mommy & Me aprons.
So lovely! That is the simplest way to describe these Mother & Daughter Aprons. Most of the aprons I’ve seen in stores and on-line are very “boxy”. Sometimes, I just want to look and feel like a sexy cookin’ mama! I love the feminine lines of this apron—it’s actually really flattering. And the fabric is lovely—very Tiffany-esque. I think the red rose embellishment is fabulous and provides a great contrast to the light blue and brown. Kieran has been very in to “matching” things lately. The fact that she has an apron that “matches mommy” just has her beside herself with joy. She lights up when we’re both wearing it and is even more eager to help me out in the kitchen. It’s also been her go-to outfit when she’s whipping up a meal in her play kitchen. Right out of the package she put it to use and filled the pockets with her fake ketchup and mustard bottles and got to ‘work’. We’ve used it for actual baking, too, and most recently used it as a painter’s smock at my son’s 1st Birthday Party.

The quality of the aprons is excellent, too. I gave a strong tug to all the stitching (as I expect it to get pulled on by one or both of my kids) and they held their own. It’s also reversible in a pinch, with a Brown/Blue Polka Dot design:

Too bad it can’t keep the chocolate off my kids’ face, too! The mother/daughter set retails for $60, a great price for a quality set that also makes for a pretty good photo-op!
