We attended the grand opening for editorial purposes.
Legoland Califonia is calling explorers of all ages to experience their new LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure! That’s IT LA was one of the first to embark on this journey which was especially exciting for us since we received a behind the scenes preview tour a couple of months ago!
The interactive ride is located in the northeast corner of the park, a few steps from Nanny’s Apple Fries (hint hint). Guests step into one of the 12 submarines (seats 8) that will immerse them on a 4-minute colorful oceanic journey filled with beautiful sea life.
Over 2000 sea animals call Deep Sea Adventure their home including sharks, rays and of course beautiful fish of all types. Watching a shark swim towards me through a porthole was wildly exciting!
Kids can participate in an interactive search for treasure. Treasure can be spotted on both sides of the submarine. Use the touch screen in front of you to keep track of your findings. Some of the treasures that can be seen are gems, crown and a chest. Walk away as a junior, senior or master explorer! Make sure to watch for directions before you set sail.
In true Legoland style, there are more than 25 amazing Lego models located in the deep sea. My favorite is the massive octopus.
There are no height restrictions, however, guests must be at least 52″ to ride alone.
Add this ride to your list of things to do at Legoland Califonia. Summer means extended hours and more time for LEGO adventures!
