Legoland California hosted our experience. Opinions are our own.
Brick or Treat Party Nights Legoland California is back! This is an annual visit for us as I think it’s an awesome Halloween event for families. There’s so much to do once the sun goes down from watching performers, to meet & greets, to grooving dance parties and of course, candy! The event happens every Saturday in October and park hours are extended.
I highly recommend the one-day park hopper to get the most of your Legoland experience. We leave the costumes in the car and enjoy the earlier part of the day in the park. Look for two stations to pick up your Brick or Treat wristbands and green candy bag once inside the theme park.
We start every Brick or Treat visit by stepping into the larger than life Lego pumpkin which is beyond the entrance. My daughter likes to find the Halloween themed models throughout the park including a massive spider and Frankenstein Lego figure, The Meet and Greets with Lego characters are always fun and make sure to get in a photo with one of the many scary performers on stilts!
My daughter’s favorite is the treat stations located throughout the park. There are 16, most open at 5 but this year a few stations passed out candy at 3pm- another reason to purchase the park hopper deal – get a jump on trick or treating! And parents you don’t have to steal your kid’s candy, you can join in on the fun and get in line for your own sweet stash!
One of the first stations I look for is the one passing out commemorative bricks. It’s a cute souvenir which I turn into magnets. New this year, head to Fun Town Police and Fire academy and take the pop badge challenge! Guests can complete three fun tasks to earn neat collectible badges.
My favorite part of Halloween is seeing all the kids dressed in their Halloween best. From Lego Batman to unicorns, children get to transform into their favorite characters and even enter a costume contest for a chance to win prizes!
Get your groove on at the Midnight Monster Jam or take advantage of the shorter ride lines! Most people are enjoying the activities, but this is the perfect time to jump in front for Technic Coaster or the Dragon Coaster.
Legoland California offers a variety of Halloween-themed treats, like Hot Apple Cider which can be found at my favorite stand, Granny’s Apple Fries!
