What was my favorite sweet treat in 2010? It was cake pops. Inspired by my own rockin’ cake pops, one of my 2011 goals is to try out new ideas, designs and recipes and eventually start a cake pop business!
I’m still perfecting my cake pops. After making your recipe, you need to think about their organization and presentation. At first, I used Styrofoam blocks to prop up and organize my pops. I’ve also tried bowls of rice (which failed miserably). Styrofoam blocks work but they’re not attractive and I’ve had to replace them a few times. I turned to the Internet for an alternative. That’s when I came across Cake Pop Stands from Working Widget Technology.
The Cake Pop Stands are made from acrylic and come in various colors and sizes. The mother load of stands is their “The Big Forty”. Forty Cake Pops could replace a whole birthday cake with this display!
I received the one dozen Cake Pop Stand and I love it! No more worries about the pops touching each other. Plus, the stands make your presentation look professional. I made Christmas Tree cake pops for my husband’s coworkers and the Cake Pop Stand made for an easy transport. Apart from finding them delicious, my husband’s coworkers were impressed with the presentation of the cake pops and thought that we were selling them! Hmm… they might be on to something.
These stands would make a wonderful gift for anyone who dabbles in cake pops creations. Add engraving to the stands for an extra touch. The Working Widget Technology Cake Pop Stands are sturdy, easy to clean and I recommend them for your cake pop display! Purchase stands at www.cakepopstand.com.

I love your Christmas tree cake pops! They look great!
Thank you!
Your cake pops look great. I have been wanting to try to make some of my own.
awesome! How do you make Cake Pops?
Those are awesome! and they really do make your presentation look so good!
How cute are those! Good luck with your new endeavor!
I just saw a cake pop cookbook at Target but was wondering how you get them to stand up. You answered my question! Thanks. I may be investing in one of these very soon =) Awesome job on your christmas tree pops.
This is awesome!! I tried the cake pops (I am struggling to get them round – nevermind fancy!). When we first tried to stand them up we used that green foam that you stick fake flowers in and the dust from it got on the wet chocolate. :(. We haven’t made them since then because we can’t figure what to do with them after they are dipped in chocolate – these are PERFECT!! I got the cake pops cook book for Christmas so as soon as I order one of these, I am trying again! The good thing is, no matter how sad looking mine come out, they taste delicious! The recipe is so easy – it can’t be messed up!
Your tree pops are cute! Wish I had known about cake pops for granddaughter’s 5th birthday last month. I think her friends would have enjoyed these more than traditional birthday cake. Plus they would have been better to bring instead of cupcakes to her pre-school celebration too. Thanks!
