Hercule Poirot isn’t done solving murders on vintage mass public transit. While his detective skills helped solved a Murder On The Orient Express, he will have to solve another murder in Death On The Nile. 20th Century just released a new trailer for Branagh’s film adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel of the same name. In it, Kenneth Branagh reprises his role as Poirot, who finds himself wrapped in a mystery aboard a steamer with an all-star cast that includes Tom Bateman, four-time Oscar® nominee Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright.
There will be steamy scenes – from the various love affairs and the boat itself. And let’s not forget the murder and mystery elements.
Though Murder On The Oriental Express received mixed reviews, it was a commercial success. So, of course, 20th Century would follow it up with a sequel. And just like its predecessor, Death On The Nile features an all-star cast. There’s Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman”), Annette Benning (“20th Century Women”), Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”), Rose Leslie (“Game Of Thrones”), Emma Mackey (“Sex Education”), Sophie Okonedo (“Christopher Robin”), Jennifer Saunders (“Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie”), and Letitia Wright (“Black Panther”).
Here’s the official plot synopsis for Death On The Nile:
