Presented by Whole Foods Markets the 18th Annual Radio 92.9 EarthFest returns to the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Hatch Memorial Shell in Boston! On May 21 2011 the stellar line-up will include LIVE’s Ed Kowalczyk, OK Go, Sponge and Atomic Tom. The event will celebrate the Earth, showcasing national and local music acts, environmentally friendly products and local non-profit environmental organizations.
The Radio 92.9 EarthFest is the largest free radio station concert in the country!
Performances on the Main Stage will begin at 11:30 a.m. Kid’s Planet, an interactive family area will open at 10:00 a.m. This area will feature kid-friendly environmental activities, educational displays, musical performances and much more. The MBTA will have a mini-bus on site for photo opportunities with the kids. Wally the Green Monster is expected to make an appearance! Whole Foods will offerface painting, Community Boating will be teaching knot tying and the Boston Breakers will be onsite. All in all, a great day for the family – and to make it all better, it is all FREE!
