Helpful Honda Bringing Helpfulness To The Community

Keep an eye out for the The Honda Guys in Blue! They might surprise you, just like our That’s IT Mommy contributor, Angela. She had her tank filled by a friendly, Honda Guy at a local gas station last year! Recently, the Honda Guys spread helpfulness to the fans at a recent Ducks hockey game! My family were in attendance, and we had an awesome time. Plus, the home team won! We must have been their lucky charm. One lucky fan can thank The Honda Guys in blue because her wish of riding the Zamboni came true. My daughter was green with envy. She would love to have that experience.

Honda Scores!

The Honda Guys in Blue have been at hockey games, providing free parking to a number of Honda drivers, helping out throughout the concourse, handing out hand sanitizer, chapstick, etc., and will provide one lucky fan with the opportunity to participate in the first intermission Zamboni ride. One lucky fan will also be allowed into the penalty box before the game. Their Random Acts of Helpfulness will also be featured on the video board during the game.

Helpfulness to Paws In Need

Did you know: In California, over 500,000 companion animals are euthanized each year because they don’t have homes?

In an effort to help SoCal’s two-legged residents find new four-legged friends, the SoCal Honda Dealers and the Guys in Blue hosted their annual Helpful Honda Pet Adoption events with local shelters, and rescue groups throughout the month of March. At the Helpful Honda Pet Adoptions, there will be a variety of ‘purrks’ such as adoption fee discounts, face painting and more! All adopted pets will be sent home with a new leash and water bowl, and a supplies donation will be made to each local shelter or rescue group. Last year, the Guys in Blue helped save over 280 pets during their events and are hoping to set a new record this year.

Shelter, spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center, North Central Shelter, GreenDog Foundation, Riverside County Animal Services, Downey Animal Care Center, Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA, Rancho Cucamonga Animal Services, I.C.A.R.E. Bringing Helpfulness To The CommunityOn Valentine’s Day, the Guys in Blue surprised thousands of residents with complimentary roses.  Everyday, the blue shirts can be seen in the community doing other Random Acts of Helpfulness such as cleaning up local parks and shopping plazas, opening doors, carrying groceries, providing tissues during cold season, and handing out water to help people cool down when it’s warm outside. To celebrate Earth Month during April, the SoCal Honda Dealers will say thanks to a helpful member of our community who has gone above and beyond to help keep our environment clean. The Helpful Guys in Blue will be surprising this special resident of Southern California around Earth Day, April 22nd with the keys to a brand new 2015 HONDA CIVIC HYBRID!  The fuel-efficient 2015 Honda Civic Hybrid gets an EPA estimated 47 highway MPG and is just one more example of Honda’s commitment to environmentally friendly vehicles.

The SoCal Honda Dealers have continued to surprise Southern California’s residents with Random Acts of Helpfulness. They’ve done things like pay off student loans, donate blood to people they’ll never meet, and even furnished bedrooms for growing families.
