Located at the heart of Hollywood, California is the iconic El Capitan Theatre, which is home to historic moments like the Academy Awards and movie premieres. That one is especially important considering that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is out in theaters right now. The sequel to James Gunn’s mega hit, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Kurt Russell, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, and Michael Rooker, has earned worldwide box office acclaim, and is a hit with both audiences and critics.
Now the El Capitan Theatre is making memories for everyone who purchases a ticket to see the film a little more memorable. Starting today, they will have the official Yondu costume (worn by Rooker) on display just before the theater entrance. So you can take a look at the costume before and after the film.
The El Capitan Theatre will also be offering a free Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy comic book with a variant cover and a Groot collectors cup via advanced ticket purchase while supplies last. And who could deny having their very own Groot at home.
If you haven’t seen the film, yet, its absolutely fantastic and one of the best Marvel Studios’ films to date.
