Club Penguin Island is the fully immersive and fully connective gameplay that allows its young players the opportunities for self-expression in a kid-friendly environment that could be played on multiple platforms. Now Disney is expanding the gameplay capabilities by extending it to two new platforms along with the added bonus of having some fan-favorite ideas.
Penguins can now play on either mobile devices or Windows PC and Mac using just one account, making the game more accessible than ever. Club Penguin Island has also added Igloos to the experience, allowing players to build and customize their own penguin homes on the island and throw parties with their penguin friends.
The expansion also introduces penguins finding an assortment of Frozen-themed items during the Olaf’s Frozen Adventure event, including exclusive new Frozen decorations, daily challenges, and in-game collectibles, as well as Olaf’s Frozen Adventure fabrics and decals in the clothing customizer, plus brand new Anna and Elsa costumes. There will also be the option to use Frozen-inspired Igloo décor.
Club Penguin Island is available to download for free, with the added option to purchase a $4.99 monthly recurring membership subscription., making it an incredible value for parents and subscribers. And since it is the season of giving, the game will be offering its players the option to give with the return of the Coins for Change charity program, which has donated more than $13 million to charities around the world since 2007. The program allows Club Penguin Island players to donate virtual coins earned in the game. For every 100 virtual coins donated by Club Penguin Island players between December 6 and January 3, Club Penguin Island will donate $5 to provide toys to children in need, up to a maximum of $50,000. The community is challenging players to donate 1 million virtual coins this holiday season.
