My daughter just finished her freshman year of college, so we planned a special mommy and daughter day at Disneyland to celebrate! We packed in as many rides as we could and made it our mission to try new foods (to us) along the way. Here’s our Disneyland foodie recap and trust me it was good!

First stop Ronto Roasters. I went for the Ronto-less Garden Wrap and honestly… I need a vat of that kimchi slaw and sweet pickled cucumber situation. The sausage itself was tasty, but those toppings + the gochujang spread completely stole the show for me. If you love Korean-inspired flavors, this one is so good. Not spicy to me at all, just flavorful! $14.49

My daughter grabbed the Meiloorun Juice and as a certified juice girl, she LOVED it. Pineapple juice, lemonade, blueberry, cranberry, lemon, and desert pear — super refreshing for a hot Disney day. $7.79

Next stop was Maurice’s Treats for the viral Chocolate Croissant Cookie… I wanted to love this more than I did. It was decent, but ours tasted a little stale and overall felt underwhelming after all the hype. First time trying it and not a must-get for me. $6.79

The Garlic Cheesy Pretzel Bread though?? YES PLEASE. Exactly what it sounds like: warm, cheesy, garlicky carb heaven. A few bites had a little too much spread, but we’d absolutely order it again. There’s also a bratwurst version! $8.29

But the true MVP of the day…The Beef Birria Toasted Cheese from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. My daughter and I split one… then immediately went back and bought a SECOND because we wanted more. Pepper jack, onion, cilantro, salsa verde on sourdough with consommé for dipping packed with flavorful birria and honestly one of the best things we ate all day. SO good. $15.49

And the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron absolutely lived up to the hype. Raspberry rose filling, almond flavor, fresh raspberries… incredible. We actually brought it home so my husband could try it too and now it’s officially one of our favorite macarons ever. $8.29

Of course we also grabbed a classic churro in New Orleans Square because Disneyland churros simply never miss. Warm, crispy, chewy perfection.
I also got a Mickey ice cream bar and the cast member warned me it was EXTRA frozen… she was not kidding It was practically solid ice at first, so maybe let that one thaw for a minute before diving in.
We skipped the beignets and Dole Whip this trip because we wanted to branch out and try different foods, and honestly? No regrets. We had such a good food day at Disneyland… but I’m STILL thinking about that birria sandwich.
