“Bullet Train” promises to be one action-packed assassin thrill ride contained within the confines of its titular mode of transportation. Led by Brad Pitt who plays the unlucky character code named Ladybug, boarding a train for one final mission to deliver a mysterious briefcase to his handler. The only problem is that he and other competing assassins discover their objectives are all connected.
Now Sony has released a collection of character posters featuring many of the assassins that we will see in the film. They all have something that matches the character’s name. So for Ladybug, we see Brad Pitt against a background of the cute little critters. While Joey King’s Prince poster is adorned with crowns. And it seems fitting that Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) have an a poster with the character set against a background of the fruit. The same goes for Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), Tangerine’s associate, who has a poster of the character with a lemon tree in the background.
These “Bullet Train” character posters are unlike some of the typical ones we’ve seen for superhero films because they have so much personality because of its themes and reflection of character names. It’s going to be exciting to see the clashing dynamics between all of them as they fight to obtain the briefcase that Ladybug is trying to retrieve. It’s no wonder why the film is one of the most anticipated original action films of the summer.
“Bullet Train” also stars Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Benito A Martínez Ocasio, and Sandra Bullock.
Directed by David Leitch, who uses a screenplay written by Zak Olkewicz, based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle (published in English as Bullet Train) by Kōtarō Isaka, “Bullet Train” opens in theaters on August 5, 2022.
