To All The Boys I Loved was one of the more delightful, not to mention very surprising, romantic comedies to come from Netflix. And now, the streaming giant will follow up the success of the first with a sequel, To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, which sees the return of Lana Condor as Lara Jean and Noah Centineo as Peter, the couple who ware no longer pretending to be a couple. However, things get a little complicated when John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher), another one of the recipients of her letters, enters her life.
The sequel is based on a series of books written by Jenny Han, which follows the exploits of Lara Jean, a young girl who is navigating the complexities of young love after her younger sister sent out secret love letters that she has been keeping.
The first was just so adorably cheesy in every way imaginable, and yet, it was still so charming and endearing to watch these characters fall in and out of love. It also felt honest and something that could connect to anyone, of any age, who has been in love like that. So it should be interesting to see if To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You can sustain that momentum that was started by the first.

And, as Lara Jean navigates a trove of official firsts with Peter — her first real kiss, her first real date, her first Valentine’s Day — she finds herself leaning more on Kitty and Margot (Anna Cathcart and Janel Parrish), Chris (Madeleine Arthur), and an unexpected new confidant, Stormy (Holland Taylor), to help her manage the complex emotions that come with this new chapter of balancing a relationship and figuring out her authentic self. But when John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher), another recipient of one of Lara Jean’s old love letters, enters her life again she must rely on herself more than ever as she’s confronted with her first real dilemma: Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?
