Every Red Carpet Premiere is a new experience for me- a new movie to screen, meeting new celebrities and hang out at a cool pre or after party! The Good Dinosaur brought us together for a memorable night at El Capitan Theatre and this time a GREEN carpet was rolled out for the guests!
Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur takes us way back…65 million years to be exact. Dinosaurs roam across mass terrains of forests and mountainscapes. The Good Dinosaur is a true cinematic journey involving a young dinosaur (Arlo) and an unlikely caveboy friend (Spot). I got a chance to speak with the creators of the film and I learned that their visits to Wyoming (I’ve decided that I need to visit!) inspired the film’s jaw-dropping landscapes. Some of these views were recreated on the green carpet which made for a nice photo op!
The film stars Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, A.J. Buckley, Sam Elliott and Anna Paquin and is directed by Peter Sohn. All the stars were in attendance for the film premier and I got to meet many of them at the after party located at OHM across the street at Hollywood & Highland.
The menu was fitting with a buffet that any herbivore would enjoy! Kids gathered at the craft tables and decorated mini-totes and created a Dino Terrarium. What a tremendous evening! The Good Dinosaur roars it’s way into theaters this Thanksgiving!!
I was a guest of Disney and Pixar. Thank you for the memorable evening!
