While animated shows have had a hard time making that leap from TV to film, “The Simpsons,” and now “Bob’s Burgers” have found ways to end that ugly streak. 20th Century Studios has just released the latest trailer for the latter that follows Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, and Louise on many of their misadventures as a family who runs a local burger parlor that sits adjacent to a quasi-Coney Island-esque amusement park. They are the very picture of a family who has endured a n eccentric landlord, a buddy cop-type health department duo, a ragtag group of peculiar friends, oddball family members, and crazy holiday adventures, all of which revolves around burgers and songs. Now we will get to see that on a cinematic level in “The Bob’s Burger Movie.”
Simple, but a very effective title goes about telling the latest mishap to hit Bob’s Burgers. But they aren’t behind on their utility bill, nor is anyone stuck on a toilet. This time, a giant sink hole opens right in front of their doorstep. And to make matters worse, hey are still struggling to make the payments running a business and keeping their home. So they do what they do best, make the best of the worst situation. Which involves, as you might guess, lots of singing, dancing, burger making, and for Bob, conversing with food. It’s no wonder that such an endearing and lovable family has been able to stay on the air for this long. The first episode aired in 2011, and the show has been continuing on since then.
