PBS KIDS LAB has recently launched 40 new games! These games are designed to help build math skills and incorporate PBS KIDS shows so kids can engage with their favorite characters through computers, mobile devices and interactive white boards. My daughter loves the Cat in the Hat and I can’t wait to show her some games based on this classic book.

PBS KIDS also continues to offer their line of mobile apps which are available for the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android. These apps include concepts such as math and science, foreign language learning, recipes, spelling and reading, coloring, and even include full show episodes! My daughter and I love PBS KIDS, and I am also a fan of their continued commitment to make learning fun and accessible! We have the pbskidsplay.org subscription (you can also trial the free version at pbskids.org) as well as tons of apps on our iPad and iPhone. I look forward to the day when my 20-month-old will get to experience these great learning resources as well!

pbs kids is great! since we’re just starting to let the boys watch tv, it’s very informative of the shows and what is appropriate for the age groups. i’m sure that we will be checking out these games very soon.
