TCL is a brand that has served my family well over the years. We got our first TCL TV when my daughter was nine years old, and it quickly became our living room’s centerpiece. It provided us with endless entertainment and brought our family closer together.
Technology advanced as the years went by, and we upgraded our TCL TV to their TCL 65″ Class 5-Series 4K Smart Roku TV. The picture quality improved, the sound became more immersive, and the TV became so thin and sleek that it felt like a work of art displayed in our living room. The TV is massive, the shows look fantastic, and we love it!
Watching TV has always been a favorite pastime of mine. I remember cozying up on the couch with my parents and brother, eagerly waiting for our favorite shows to come on. We would share laughter, tears, and moments of pure joy as we watched our beloved shows and movies on the screen. It was a bonding experience like no other especially for my mother and I.
I also looked forward to my time in front of the TV watching soap operas and afterschool specials. I even remember when MTV first launched on Cable TV!
Fast forward to the 21st century and streaming services have opened up a whole new world of entertainment for us. We can easily access various movies and TV shows with just a few clicks. Our TCL TV, with its user-friendly interface and compatibility with streaming platforms, has made this experience even more enjoyable for my family.
We were excited to rip open the box when our TCL TV was delivered to our door step. My husband and I removed the TV (recommend two people to handle due to it’s large size), placed it on our entertainment center, and within seconds we had the IT setup to our wifi and ready to go! We downloaded our favorite streaming services and adjusted settings according to our liking.

One of our favorite features? If you are like us, we are constantly misplacing our TV remote. Thankfully, we can download the Roku app and control the TV from our phones! Thank you Roku!
But even with all the new features and options available, our TV time is something we look forward to as a family, which remains a tradition. We still gather around the television whether to binge-watch a new series, watch our favorite movies, or save Saturday nights for SNL. It’s a time to enjoy each other’s company and forget the world’s stresses.
The ROKU TV is one of the best-looking we’ve ever had! The colors pop, the sound is crisp and clear, and it gives us an incredible in-home cinematic experience! The only minor downside was the led light feature at the bottom of the tv. It stayed on when the room was dark and it would be a distraction when we weren’t watching tv. But after some research I found out how to turn it off!
It’s incredible how far television technology has come. Still, no matter how advanced our TV gets, the shared experiences and memories created while watching truly matter. We may have endless options now, but the simple joy of sitting around the television with my family remains unchanged. And for that, we are grateful for our TCL TV, which continues to bring us a crystal clear and rich audio and video experience every time we gather to share a memorable media moment.
