“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” has reached its midpoint of the season with one giant cliffhanger. The latest episode finds the elite team of experimental clones broken when a cold bounty Hunter named Cad Bane defeats Hunter and captures Omega, a clone female. But that isn’t The Bad Batch’s only problem. Crosshair, the sniper and former team member, went turncoat and is now hunting his former allies.
What happens next remains to be seen, but we can expect a lot of action in this latest arc of the Star Wars saga. The Disney+ series has gotten high praise for revealing a significant part of Star Wars history from Clones’ perspective. They are trying to survive during a political transition as Palpatine has turned the Republic into the Galactic Empire.
Disney+ has released a brand-new albeit very brief “Bad Batch” mid-season trailer, which is more like a recap if you haven’t been following the show. The trailer has some familiar faces, interactions, and unforgettable action sequences. There’s Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), The Martell sisters, and Captain Rex. But the one character who doesn’t make an appearance in this trailer is the fan-favorite gunslinging bounty hunter Cad Bane.
