The 6th Annual Naukabout Festival, a celebration of beer, music, and food ), is taking place on August 3 at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds. Sounds pretty perfect to me. Cape Cod, Beer, Food and MUSIC!
If you are unfamiliar with Naukabout, I think it is time you familiarize yourself with it. The term stemmed from the beaches of Cape Cod when Tim Conley would would come home from work, swap out of his work-a-bouts, and tell his kids to “change into our nauk-a-bouts” so we could “get outside for some fun!”
Naukabout moments are what life is all about. Sharing great times with families and friends doing what you love to do. The Festival started in 2007 and is now celebrating it’s 6th year with an amazing line up of musicians on multiple stages, Naukabout Beer Pavilion, and The Island Creek Seafood Experience.
Acclaimed singer/songwriter Sally Taylor, daughter of James Taylor and Carly Simon, will make a special appearance performing with Aline Haunton, from Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD.) PYD provides one-to-one and group mentoring programs for over 450 individuals dealing with cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities in the Greater Boston area each year. PYD will be hosting an information table and raffle at the festival. Enter the raffle for the opportunity to go home with a Yamaha guitar signed by Carly Simon and Sally & Ben Taylor.
I know I can’t wait to see the Adam Ezra Band again. I saw them on a recent Rock and Blues Cruise (which you should totally check out too) and fell in love with their music and energy.Everything about the festival guarantees a great day for all ages. Bring the kids, have some fun and make some memories. The festival starts at 12pm and goes until 10pm.This is an all ages event, RAIN OR SHINE! Children under 12 years old are free.

My favorite place to “Nuakabout” is anywhere outside in beautiful weather with my friends, whether it’s the beach, going on a hike or seeing a concert!
Been waiting on this Fest. Making a road trip all the way from PA to visit with family and friends, chill to the music and of course, Nauk one back… Or a few 🙂
I cannot wait for the festival, I like to Nuakabout at the Lavender farm
My own backyard!
I’ve lived in New England my entire life but I’ve never been to Cape Cod. I’m surprised they haven’t kicked me out yet. I would love to get up there before the summer ends.
I’ll Naukabout any where, any place, any time. You just say the word and I’m there.
I love to nukabout anywhere near bodies of water, so stoked for this fest
Love to Naukabout at Naukabout. Already have tickets but would love to be able to bring along a few others. So looking forward to the day.
With friends at the beach.
Naukabout isn’t about “where but who you’re with” and the four of us would love to attend the festival!
Haven’t got to attend a show yet but would love to bring my family to what looks to be an amazing event to help a great cause!
Would love to be able to attend. My wife and I love the acts lined up. It’d be great! Thanks!
