L.A.’s largest foodie event happens July 8, 9 and 10th! The all new LA FOOD FEST has been around for 7 years. This year expect some cha-cha-changes! The fest has a new parter (Nederlander), is happening in a new location downtown (Exposition Park) and offering a ton of new features. The best part about it? They’ve added an extra day to get your food and drink on!
BTW, one of the hashtags for the the fest is #StretchyPants. That’s right, don’t worry about fashion, comfort is the way to go for this festival. Sure you’re just “tasting”, but what hasn’t changed is that will be over 100 amazing food venders on site, craft cocktails for the 21+ crowd and the signature Ice Cream Social and Ice Coffee Lounge! You’ll be tempted to unbotton your hipster jeans for some breathing room. Oh, and don’t worry cool moms and dads- This event is family friendly with some crafts, shops, live music and more. Kids 8 and under get in free with a paying adult!
Are you 21+? Then check out the new Wine Garden and Beer Gardens. There’s also a “Food Porn” Cinema. That should be interesting!
So who’s wearing Stretchy Pants with me!? Take the Metro to the Expo Park-USC Station or Uber it, especially for those partaking in the alcohol. Please don’t drink and drive! Families might want to get there early to avoid some of the crowds.
