I love Chocolate Chip Cookies and have tried many recipes when baking them. This Nestle Toll House recipe is my families favorite. Perfect with a glass of milk.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter -softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

Thanks for posting this recipe. My 2 kids are grown and these were and still are their favorite cookies. Mine too! Now I have a 5 yr. old granddaughter who loves to help me in the kitchen especially if I’m baking. She gets to be the “Royal Taste Tester” – well sure, she’s our Princess. I’ll have to make a batch of these yummy Toll House cookies with Nestle’s chocolate chips – I won’t use any other brand. 🙂
Yum! To keep ourselves from eating the entire batch, we’ve started to freeze the dough. It works great. Soften a little and you can make six fresh baked cookies at a time. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing.
