This review is provided by our friends Erika & Adeline:
During my weekly trip to the local Whole Foods store in Andover, MA I came across a great product that I would love to share with everyone. Normally I am not a big sampler but today it wasn’t me who was asked to sample, it was my 2 year old daughter Adeline. She sampled a new product called Flavrz Drink Mix. Flavrz is a concentrated drink mix designed to be added to water. These healthy organic drinks are available in 16 oz bottles and single-serve pouches.
Adeline, the pickiest eater ever, tasted the cherry berry and the tropical. She happily drank both but decided that we should buy the tropical flavor. After talking with the representative we were informed that Flavrz Beverages are a local company based in Gloucester, Ma. The rep and his wife started this company for their own children after making a commitment to live a healthier and more planet friendly lifestyle. I love supporting local companies, especially eco-friendly ones. 5% of Flavrz profits are donated to environmental causes. I have to say that I found it very tasty. Even my 15 year old has been drinking Flavrz since we bought it from the store.
Product Highlights:
- Organic and Kosher
- made from fruit juice, fruit extracts, and fruit flavorings
- sweetened mainly with agave nectar
- low-sugar
- less than half the calories of juice or soda
- free of artificial flavors, colors, preservatives and chemicals

Erika – thanks for your great review. I look forward to reading more from you.
erika, thanks for the review. if the picky diva adeline likes it, my boys will too!! thanks for the info and keep me posted on other “green” products that we may like!!
Great review Erika. I would definitely try Flavrz if it was available in this area. Your review was well written and I was impressed that you took the time to research the company prior to posting your review. You have written an excellent review!!
Thanks for the tip, I had never heard of it and Mia won’t drink any juices. I will be trying this!
I am looking forward to trying this product. I am definitely a “water pusher” with my kids and they have been so good about it lately. It would be nice to surprise them with a healthy, flavorful alternative.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks Erika for the great review and letting us know about this kid-tested, mother-approved, drink! I love that it’s sweetened with agave, we use that in our tea, so much better than the terrible after-taste of a sugar substitute. Looking forward to trying flavrz and keep the reviews coming! 🙂
Great review – I so want to try this now. Maybe I’ll share some with my daughter too 😉
I love places that do samples – so you can try things like this and discover that they’re great!
We’ll give it a try. I’m trying to have the kids consume less sugar. Any other cool low-sugar products, please post.
Thanks for the review! I’ll have to check the Whole Foods here in Oregon to see if they are carried out on the West Coast. I love that it is sweetened with Agave…so much tastier than sugar and no strange dyes are a big plus too.
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to your next review!
I like the idea of this product because juice has so much sugar in it… this sounds like a nice alternative. Thank for the tip – I look forward to hearing more
Erika,
I love your information about Flavrz! I am always trying to choose healthy alternatives for my 15 month old daughter. I appreciate your suggestion and definitely look forward to purchasing some of this for her! Keep up the good work and continue to search for great low sugar organic products.
Thanks again!!!
I love that it turns out to be a fairly local company to you. The green aspect is PC and the fact that Adeline likes it is testimony to the product! Great article and research! I hope this business flourishes and spreads to other areas….perhaps Whole Foods will include it in all of their markets.
That’s great that it’s a Massachusetts business. I will have to try this on Harper, who just might be pickier than Miss Adeline. She is just starting to like juice, but I’ve been hesitant to give her too much because of all the sugar, so this could be a good alternative. If they could secretly cram a multivitamin in there too, I’d buy stock in the company!
Thanks for the review Erika. I am going see if they have it at Bedford Whole Foods. I’ll let you know what my daughter thinks of it.
Thanks for the tip Erika. I will definitely check this out for Lily who is also quite picky!
Great review. I’m always looking for some variety for Lucy. Sounds like it’s time for a whole foods trip. Also thanks for the link!!
Great review Erika ! Sounds like a great product ! I am always willing to try something new. My 6 year old is a big juice drinker so I will have to get myself some !
Thanks for the review Erika, I have seen this product but haven’t bought it. Now that I know Adeline (the pickiest eater in the world) likes it, I will definitely try it! I bet Forrest will love it, and it sounds really convenient! Do they offer any coupons?
