Disney’s Frozen is now playing at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood through January 5, 2014. Moviegoers are treated to a special movie experience with wintery decorations, a pre-show ice carving presentation, as well as an appearance by Frozen characters Anna and Elsa live on the El Capitan stage! My family loves El Capitan and we were thrilled to watch my daughter’s new favorite movie here. Thanks Disney and El Capitan for the VIP experience!

Elsa and Anna are two royal sisters separated by Elsa’s magical powers. The two discover what true love really means. Frozen is a really wonderful movie! The soundtrack is awesome, the CGI is fantastic AND it’s funny! I heard so many dads laughing at Olaf’s lines and all of the kids were singing along to Elsa’s theme song, “Let It Go”. Make sure to hang around after the credits. There’s a neat surprise. Plus, Frozen is preceded with by “Get A Horse!”, one of the coolest animated shorts I’ve seen! In the lobby, take a moment to stop and take a picture with Olaf and Frozen backdrops!

The VIP ticket prices are $26 which include popcorn, a drink and a reserved seat. I definitely recommend this and you will feel special sitting in a marked “reserved” seat.
Guests can also have breakfast with Anna at 8:30 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. showing on select days. Seating is limited. Advance purchase is required with purchase of a movie ticket. Tickets including breakfast and the admission is $41 per adult general admission, $38 for child/senior general admission and $51 for VIP admission, which includes popcorn, soft drink, reserved seating and no waiting in line.
Families with young children should consider Tiny Tot Tuesdays at 10 a.m. every week throughout the run of Frozen. During these special screenings of the film, parents and small children can enjoy the movie in 2D in a Tiny Tot-friendly way––complete with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels.
Daily showtimes are 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. (select days only for 9:45 p.m. show). General Admission ticket prices are $16 each for adults and $13 each for children (3-11) and seniors (60+). VIP ticket prices are $26 per ticket (for all ages). Frozen is the perfect movie to see this holiday season! I seriously can’t get the tunes out of my head!
