They say that every dog has his day. Well, that saying finally comes true for Krypto the Superdog, Ace the Bathound, and the rest of the DC pet friends in “DC League of Super-Pets,” a new animated film based on the DC comics line of the same name. WB has released a small teaser trailer for the upcoming film, which is scheduled to be released next year, revealed the voice cast, which includes Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, and Natasha Lyonne.
However, only the roles of Johnson as Krypto and Hart as Ace were revealed. The remaining cast’s roles are undisclosed.
There isn’t much else to the trailer other than Krypto walking to the center of the frame and using his paw to press his collar to expand the signature Superman emblem and red cape. That was followed by the shiny “DC League of Super-Pets” title reveal.
While the trailer itself doesn’t reveal too much about the film, Johnson teased the “DC League of Super-Pets” in an Instagram post.

Whether the two-legged friends Johnson refers to is Jumpa, Wonder Woman’s pet kangaroo or an actual human remains to be seen. But it seems very likely that there would be various animal pets along with a human element added to the mix.
“DC League of Super-Pets” opens in theaters on May 20, 2022.
