Attention! I Am Headed to Skywalker Ranch and Pixar #StrangeMagicEvent #PixarInsideOut

“Tee, you are the chosen one!!” “Who me??” Ok, so 24 others were also chosen for an absolutely-amazing-fabulous-one-in-lifetime-killer-out-of-this-world opportunity to visit Skywalker Ranch in Marin County!!!  Plus, we will be spending time at Pixar located in Emeryville, CA for my lucky second visit!

People, Skywalker Ranch! THE place  George Lucas purchased for his workspace ! I cant’t wait to tour the house!

I will be there next week for three reasons- Strange Magic (Jan 23), Inside Out (June 19) and LAVA.

Let me tell you a little about these animations!

Strange Magic, a new animated film from Lucasfilm Ltd., will be released by Touchstone Pictures on January 23, 2015!

Strange Magic is a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps. Plus their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion. Lucasfilm Animation Singapore and Industrial Light & Magic, which created the CGI animation for 2011’s Academy Award®-winning film “Rango,” bring to life the fanciful forest turned upside down with world-class animation and visual effects.

 We will interview Elijah Kelley, the voice of “Sunny” (@elijah_kelley) from the film and Director Gary Rydstrom!

Inside Out – From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc., Up) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. In Disney•Pixar’s original movie Inside Out, he will take us to the most extraordinary location of all—inside the mind.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

We will also see LAVA, the new animated short film that will play in front of Inside Out in theatres. I saw it last year and I can say is I LAVA you!
