20th Century’s The New Mutants is finally getting ready for its theatrical release, two years after it was initially scheduled to debut. And now to get everyone ready, Advance tickets for Twentieth Century Studios’ “The New Mutants” are now available for purchase. Exclusive new posters for the original horror thriller from Dolby Cinema and Cinemark XD are available now. There is also an exclusive featurette to celebrate the film’s release.
The film, described as an original horror thriller, has a brand-new featurette that details the teenage mutants currently staying at a psychiatric hospital. These mutants have their deep scars, and a much bigger problem arises when they find out that they cannot leave the premises.
The story feels very timely, considering that we are living in a pandemic. Not only that, but it also comes at a time where only 80% of theaters are allowed to open. While that is a good percentage, those who want to see it will probably have to travel to a different state. And it doesn’t seem likely that it will hit VOD considering Disney has an agreement with Fox to release the film in theaters.
The featurette also comes with a pair of new posters from Cinemark and Dolby.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for The New Mutants.
