¡Canta, Canta, Canta! No fiesta is complete without mariachi music! It’s the last Friday Night Sing Along of the summer in Los Angeles and it’s closing out with the celebratory sounds of this rich tradition. The Music Center Friday Sing Along: Mariachi will be held at the
, Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 South Grand Avenue.
This mega-chorus is your chance to belt out mariachi favorites with hundreds of your fellow Angelenos. Singers of all levels are welcome, live music and easy-to-use song sheets are provided.
Hear rousing and joyful songs such as “Cielito Lindo,” “La Bamba,” “El Rey,” “Besame Mucho,” “La Cucaracha,” “El Mariachi,” “Loco,” “Tu Solo Tu,” “Los Laureles,” “Las Mañanitas,” “Cucurucucu Paloma,” “Serenata Huasteca,” “Mexico Lindo Y Querido,” “Volver Volver” and more.
The event is free but tickets are required. Tickets are distributed starting at 6:00 p.m., one ticket per person waiting in line. First come, first served. No advance reservations are necessary and this event is fun for all ages!
