Bake with IT: babycakes cupcake maker

I love baking with my kids but we usually don’t bake much in  the summer.  With the high temps and no central AC it gets HOT when we turn on the oven. That is why I am super excited to share this amazing cupcake maker by babycakes.

babycakes cupcake maker looks like a waffle grid or sandwich press on the outside but inside there are 8 nonstick cupcake cups. Plug it in and make cupcakes in 5-6 minutes!  No hot kitchen!  We were so excited to try this out.  I used boxed cake mix since I was feeling a little lazy. I chose a mix that includes pudding for extra moisture.  I was a little skeptical about how these cupcakes would turn out so I was pleasantly surprised when they were so tasty. The light comes on to indicate that the maker is hot enough to use.  We poured our batter in and latched the lid. 5 minutes later we had perfectly cooked cupcakes.  What an easy way to make cupcakes! The mini size is a perfect treat for little ones or for school parties. The machine is easily cleaned by unplugging (let it cool!) and wiping it out with a a damp cloth.
