“Christmas time is here. Happiness and cheer. Fun for all that children call their favorite time of the year.”
Celebrate this holiday season at Knott’s Berry Farm. The park is transformed into Knott’s Merry Farm and it’ll be sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Running now through January 6, 2013 guests will experience fantastic shows, parades and of course get to hang with the Peanuts Gang!
The Peanuts have always been a part of my holidays! Like most families, we enjoy holiday TV specials and A Charlie Brown Christmas was one of our favorites. Spending time at Knott’s Merry Farm brings those memories to life!
My family and I spent a day at Knott’s Merry Farm and we had an awesome time. I loved the decorations and window shopping through Christmas Crafts Village! Make sure to stick around after sunset, the park is lit up in holiday splendor and it looks beautiful!
There’s definitely a full day ahead for families. Stop at The Bird Cage Theatre for a live performances of ’ “A Christmas Carol,” and/or O. Henry’s “Gift of the Magi” We were impressed with the actors performances and the length is perfect for the little ones. There wasn’t a squirmy seat in the house. Great shows to remind us of what Christmas is really about.
“It’s Christmas, Snoopy!” ice skating show is a must-see!! The show is held at the 2,100 seat Charles M. Schulz Theater. The skaters are top notch! I couldn’t believe the skills and routines that the skaters were pulling off! Snoopy and the gang take to the ice and there are clips from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” displayed throughout the show. Sit back, relax those feet and enjoy the show!
Join the “A Peanuts’ Holiday Parade” to get a glimpse of your favorite Peanuts character. I also suggest sticking around for the “Calico’s Christmas Tree Lighting” at 6pm. The 45′ Christmas Tree is beautiful! Another favorite are the Calico Carolers. You can catch them caroling through the streets of Ghost Town.
Knotts Merry Farm is family friendly, charming and the entrance prices are affordable! All of the holiday festivities are included in park admission. Guests can take advantage of the 2013 Pass Price of $66.99 (ends Jan 13). You won’t go wrong with that price!
