In the heart of West Hollywood just steps from Sunset Blvd The London Hotel played host to a wonderful Afternoon Tea at Gordon Ramsey’s Boxwood restaurant. The guest of honor was Mamas & Papas Urbo2 stroller in quintessentially British, Chestnut Tweed. I am in love with this gem of a hotel. So posh and private, a great retreat from the bustling neighborhood that surrounds it. We were so taken by the elegant glamor of the entrance and lobby that was very Hollywood with Brit sensibility. I definitely want to come back and check out more of this hotel. But for now Afternoon Tea with the babe.
In a large private room Mamas & Papas has set a wonderful Tea Party for us to preview their newest stroller the Urbo2 in Chestnut Tweed. First was play time for the kiddos with all the wonderful Mamas & Papas toys. My daughter loved to sit in their Snug Pod and play with all the toys that could stick to the tray.
Then during some amazing tea (I had Rose & Vanilla), we were introduced to the Urbo2. I have to admit I am secretly a stroller addict. We have four but there is a very good reason for each one (at least that is what I tell my hubby). Now I have found my fifth, the perfect city stroller! Easy to use, easy to steer and folding it was a dream; folded very easily and was practically flat. For being so compact and light it was very sturdy and had such a quality to it. The leather-look handle is in a gorgeous rich brown. The handle height is adjustable for tall Moms or Dads. The bumper bar is also in the rich brown material and is very east to open and shut, and move out of the way when getting your kiddo out. The seat in the luxe quilted & padded fabric, fully reclines for nap time and can be reversed to face you. By the way, the Tweed patterned fabric is to die for, it’s wipe-clean and has copper zipper & zip pulls takes it over the top. Basket was easily accessible and a good size for being a compact stroller.
Also, the Urbo2 comes with an integrated insect net and an attachable rain cover. Carseat adapters are available as well as a matching Cold Weather footmuff and a stroller bassinet if you want for your newborn. Now the question is how do I convince the hubby we need a 5th stroller! I will have to come up with some ideas over cakes and biscuits. For more info please visit www.mamasandpapas.com
