Disney seems to have been focusing their Tsum Tsum releases on Disney and Star Wars, more than the Marvel characters. The last Marvel release was back in November with the Marvel Icons Collection and I never see any at The World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney.
But earlier this month, on May 2nd, Disney released the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Collection in Europe and the U.K. The collection consists of 7 Tsum Tsums:
• Star-Lord
• Gamora
• Drax
• Rocket Raccoon
• Groot (Kid Groot)
• Yondu
• Mantis
There is no word on when these are being released in the U.S. Normally, Tsum Tsum release days have been on the same day as the Europe and the U.K. releases. I think this is the first time that they have not been released on the same days. Also, I’m hoping that the quality of the fabric and materials used on these are better than the first series of Guardians of the Galaxy Tsum Tsum.
But, we do know that the next Tsum Tsum Tuesday collection to be released is on June 16 for Cars 3. These are looking really cute too! There are 7 characters in the collection:

There have been some photos of a medium-sized Mack Tsum Tsum (he’s the semi-truck that carries Lightning to his races) that had surfaced online. Not sure if this is being released at the same time or later.

My sister came for a visit, from Hawaii, recently and brought me back these Tsum Tsum from the Disney Aulani Resort. ShellieMay and Minnie were out of stock at the time she purchased them, but a staff member did tell her they would be getting more in stock later.

The Tsum Tsum Subscription Box resumed at the beginning of the year. I wasn’t sure if I was going to renew my subscription for this box, but I am glad I did. The previous subscription program gave you a mini Tsum Tsum atop a small Tsum Tsum (small size was exclusive to the subscription and never released in stores) inside of a window gift box. The new and updated program has more variety and a new micro-size Tsum Tsum, but without the window box packaging (which I do miss since it made it easier to display). The monthly box could contain one of the following:
• One Small Plush & one coordinating Mini Plush
• Three-piece Mini Plush Set
• Plush Movie Moment
• Six-piece Micro Plush Set

In addition to these, Target has been getting some Tsum Tsum restocks of collections that are no longer available at the Disney Store and online, such as The Aristocats, Finding Nemo, and Pixar. I have even found the Hoth Luke and Hoth Han Solo, but not the Tauntaun, Wampa and the Tauntaun bag, from the Tauntaun Tsum Tsum Collection. That collection was one of the coolest ones since it recreates the Tauntaun cutting scene. To open the Tauntaun bag the collection comes in, you have to open it from the bottom plus the inner lining is pink.
