“The Marvels” may have received a lukewarm reception at the box office last year, but it still was a fun flick. Now, it’s getting ready for its home entertainment release.
Now fans Higher. Further. Faster. Together when “The Marvels” becomes available from all major digital retailers including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu on January 16 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on February 13. Fans can add the film to their collection and access exclusive bonus content including deleted scenes, a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes and an audio commentary from co-writer/director Nia DaCosta and VFX Supervisor Tara DeMarco.
The titular film brings together Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), astronaut and S.A.B.E.R. agent Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and New Jersey teen hero Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) teaming up to defeat a new cosmic danger that threatens to destroy the galaxy and maybe even a few other universes. With the help of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the three have to confront past traumas, estrangement, and hero worship, while also working together to defeat the new evil.
Of course, with each home entertainment release, whether that’s on digital or physical media, there are a few fun bonus features that takes a look at the making of the film. And for “The Marvels,” fans will get two featurettes. One takes a look at the cast chemistry, and the other chronicles the production of the film. There will also be gag reels and deleted scenes.
