The Children’s Place is the go-to-store for my daughter’s fashions! I’m never disappointed with their styles or prices especially during the holidays. We live in Los Angeles so we don’t usually have the need to bundle up but it does get chilly for SoCal standards. Shopping all the sweaters, scarves and layers gets us in the winter spirit.
I was invited to shop The Children’s Place Holiday Collection in Los Angeles to celebrate #bigfashionlittleprices. My goal was to find the perfect holiday dress as well as cute school clothes that will bring out my daughter’s personality- fun, colorful and playful!
What’s cool this winter? Pastels! I love the “Frozen” inspired look with light blues, pinks with sparkling gold accessories.
Bright colors never go out of fashion, especially on little girls. I bought this awesome biker’s jacket in purple. My daughter rocks this jacket and it’s super comfy on her. Another popular color this season was pink. Pastels or bold hold pinks look good any time of the year.
My daughter has all of these jeggings. They are fun and the floral style remind me of the 80s!
I saved the best for last- a holiday dress! This dress will be worn in a photo with Santa as well as the many holiday events that we’ll be attending over the next month. I decided on The Children’s Place Colorblock Party dress. I ADORE THIS DRESS! Unfortunately, it is not available on line so I’ll definitely look for it in store. My daughter wore it on Thanksgiving and it turned heads.
Another dress that caught my eye was the Brocase Dress. The black bodice has pretty floral accents while the metallic skirt has a sheer overlay to complete the look. Other options were tutus and skirts matched with a long sleeve shirts topped with a jean jacket or cardigan.
We also left with a pair of cute jumbo hearts cotton PJs, extra jeggings, an adorable kitty hat and a Big Hero 6 graphic tee. I love The Children’s Place selection of licensed shirts for boys and girls. If you haven’t seen the movie Big Hero 6, it isn’t just a “boy’s superhero film”, so I was happy to see tees for girls showing off the female heroines in the movie.
Btw, my daughter is in between sizes at The Children’s Place. The 5/6 is a tad too small and the 7/8 can be a little long in the sleeves and legs but many of their fashions are available in 6x which fits my daughter to a “T”!
