Buckle up fans of the franchise and get ready for a crazy ride! Full of twists and turns, Terminator Genisys is the third installment following female heroine Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and her T-800 Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger) as they tackle futuristic machines who return to 1984. In this thrilling new adventure, Sarah’s son, John Connor (Jason Clarke), leads the human resistance against Skynet. The premise is similar to the original film, where John sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect his mother, Sarah (Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator assassin. However, an altered timeline creates a shifting paradigm of events.In the featurette, it shows how the Guardian returns to help Sarah Connor first as a child when the cyborgs attempt to kill her parents. Then, it shows how the Terminator teaches her to be a skilled fighter because the story has shifted paradigms. Although her son, John, sends Kyle back to protect Sarah the story twists. I like the twist, although many may not. Now, John has transformed into half-human and part-machine. He’s the new bad guy! I’m looking forward to watching the full version…
I’m expecting plenty of action and adventure as the Terminator stops at nothing to protect Sarah from cyborgs bent on erasing her existence. Surprising twists pull heartstrings, requiring tough judgment decisions. Terminator Genisys looks like it’s jam-packed with mind-blowing special effects and extraordinary stunts.
