I have to admit when I first laid my eyes upon Fisher Price’s Sing-A-Ma-Jigs I thought they were just another noise making plush. Boy was I wrong. Sing-A-MA-Jigs are brightly colored plush toys with round “O” mouths made by scrunchies (pony tale holders). When you squeeze their stomachs they Chatter, Sing a Song, and Harmonize. They are also quickly selling out of toy stores across the country.

Mattel sent us two Sing-A-Ma-Jigs to try out on our own. Adeline was overjoyed when the box arrived and instantly started playing with them. They can chatter back and forth or harmonize together. Each one has a unique song that they sing by you squeezing their stomach. We received the pink and the purple versions. The pink one sings Skip to My Lou and the purple sings Oh Susanna.
The overall idea of them singing and harmonizing together may be a turn off for parents who are looking for “quiet” toys but they are suprisingly not annoying. I swear I had as much fun as Adeline did playing with them. I love their voices and their songs. When you squeeze the stomachs their mouths open up in O shape revealing cute little teeth and a tongue. You can change the setting by squeezing their left hands. The Sing-A-Ma-Jigs come in a variety of different colors and each one sings a different song at a varying pitch. They are great for children ages 3 and up and retail for $13. This is sure to become one of your child’s favorite toys. You can view the entire collection here: www.thesingamajigs.com

I bought one of these for my nephew’s birthday in November. I played with him for longer than I’ll admit before we wrapped it LOL.
