I have been in love with Marshalls since I was a child. I remember being about 8 years old and playing at my best friend’s house when I was first introduced to the store. My friend’s mom came home with a huge bag of clothes. As she pulled out the clothes she bought, my friends mom exclaimed how cheap it was. I was in awe! She paid $2.99 for Esprit pants that ended up being to small for my taller (one of the only times I liked being shorter) best friend that I eventually ended up with. My love affair with Marshalls began! Fast forward to today where I am a mom of two girls who both constantly need new clothes, and so it continues…
Marshalls and T.J Maxx both offer a huge selection of first-quality name brands and designer merchandise at 20-60% off mall prices. Each week both stores receive more than 10,000 new items to re-stock shelves with. The items are always in trend and cheaper than mall stores. My 16 year old daughter just discovered her favorite bullhead jeans at Marshall’s for 1/2 the price she pays at the mall. She was very excited about this. The Cube (Marshall’s Junior section) has the latest styles for teens including clothing, accessories and even hair products.
I was lucky to be chosen to participate in Mom Central’s T.J Maxx/Marshalls Back to school campaign. I was sent a $50 Gift Card to use for back to school shopping. I was in heaven! I hit T.J. Maxx first and came across some great things. Although I like T.J Maxx I just couldn’t buy anything until I checked out Marshalls. So I hit the local Marshalls, which happens to be exactly one mile from my house, and found some great deals.
I decided to look in the kids section for clothes for my 3 year old daughter. The selection was grand. Name brands like Justice, Converse and Polo filled the racks. I ended up buying a Gymboree denim skirt with the original price tag of $26.75 for $6.99. A Carters shirt for $7.99 which I know sells for at least $16.99 and a super cute Navy Blue Pea Coat. I never heard of the brand but for $19.99 it was worth it! Then I ventured over to the shoe department where there were aisles of Converse, Nikes, BearPaw and many more. I found a pair of really cute black fur lined motorcycle boots from Pandemonium for $19.99 to complete the outfit. I ended up going $4.96 over my Gift Card but still where else could you ever get an outfit this cute at that price?
Marshall’s and T. J Maxx always have the best prices for high quality items. They are always restocking so I usually try to check out the new stuff at least once a week. I am always impressed. They have things for the whole family not just the kids. I actually just got a really cute new iPhone case for $9.99 at Marshall’s. If you want to get the most quality and value for your money I highly suggest you check out your local Marshall’s or T.J Maxx. Oh! Did I mention the cute Halloween Costumes I saw there?

Love those stores, especially for the kids. I’m also a huge fan of Home Goods, which I think is a part of TJ Maxx.

I love these stores. They have all kinds of goodies that I can afford.
You found adorable items for your daughter – I LOVE her peacoat! I’ve been very lucky too in finding beautiful clothes for my 2 granddaughters (lots of great things especially for back-to-school for the 1st grader), a cashmere sweater for my sister, and boots for me at super low prices. I love Marshalls & TJ Maxx stores!
