Dressed Up for the Holidays with Red Wagon Baby #Giveaway

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And with all of the holiday parties and family get-togethers my kids will be dressing up a lot the next couple of weeks! Red Wagon Baby baby reached out to us and offered Kieran an outfit from their new holiday line for review. Their signature foil leggings were an instant hit with her.

Kieran immediately tried on the Gold Foil Leggings ($30) and Noa Dress (in Gold Dot, $52). Her eyes lit up as she began, what we now call, the “Golden Pants Dance”.

I was a tad nervous when she wanted to wear them to school the next day. The material looks at first glance like it wouldn’t last a day on the playground. But don’t let looks deceive you! These have already gone through some rough play and two washes and they look as good as gold (Yes..pun intended :-).

Kieran is 51 pounds and 49 inches and is modeling their size 7. I would say these run slightly small as compared to other mainstream brands. My girl has long legs, so they are a bit cropped on her, and the dress, if worn with just tights would be too short. However, paired together with the leggings makes an adorable holiday outfit. In ordering an outfit for her this year, I’d go up to a size 8. I love this style of dress, as it can be worn as a dress one year, and a blouse the next!

The leggings are a poly/spandex blend, which allows Kieran plenty of freedom of movement when climbing the playground equipment. The dress has two layers—a solid black undershirt with a sheer black/gold top layer. It has an adorable black bow at the side of the neck to kick the cuteness up a notch.

This outfit will be perfect for the holidays when she is playing with her cousins. It’s dressy AND comfortable, so she won’t be asking to change her clothes after an hour.

I love that Red Wagon Baby is a local designer and manufacturer–all clothes are made here in Los Angeles, CA. Their clothes are eco-friendly and machine washable. They are only in their second year, and have landed a spot in Nordstrom’s, which also speaks to the high quality of their product. Sizing starts at 3-6 months and goes all the way up to 10! Thanks, Red Wagon Baby, for making cute, functional clothes for my girl. I’ll be keeping an eye out for your Spring 2014 line!
