For The Mom Who needs a Laugh:
Got Milf? The Modern Mom’s guide to Feeling Fabulous,Looking Great, and Rocking a Minivan
Author: Sarah Maizes
Berkley Trade Paperback Original
$14.00; Available for Purchase here
The movie American Pie immortalized the term MILF as a piece of pop culture. Good or bad, it is a term that is here to stay. Sarah Maizes new book puts a positive twist on the word Milf! This book is not about being a hot mom and attracting men. Got Milf? is a book about feeling good inside and out and embracing motherhood! A Milf, according to Maizes, is someone who can juggle responsibility, family, passion and an attitude to boot! The fact that a mom can do all this while maintaining a sense of themselves is what makes them sexy. I literally laughed out loud a million times while reading this book. Maizes tips on being a Milf are empowering and funny. She explores the difference between A Milf and a Cougar. “A Milf has children and a Cougar dates children.” This book is great for a laugh and even inspired me to arrange a much needed girls night. Got Milf? would make a great Mother’s Day Gift for any mom (we all need a laugh). I am planning on purchasing a copy for my sister and some of my “Milf” friends this year!

Award-winning photographer and New York Times bestselling author Anne Geddes contemplated a long hiatus from her studio. She changed here mind when an exhibit of birds’ nests unexpectedly caught her eye and her imagination. Anne Geddes presents the simple and elegant elements of nature as we have never seen them before. With her camera, she has conceived a fresh story about the delicate and powerful mystery of new life that will inspire nature lovers just as surely as her images of babies have captured the imaginations of people around the globe. Guess How Much I Love You is a classic story with a positive message. I adore this book. The story is of Little Nutbrown Hare who expresses his love for Big Nutbrown Hare. The two trade back and forth about how much they love each other. Big Nutbrown Hare manages to top his son with every turn. My favorite line from BNH is, “I love you all the way to the moon and back.” That’s exactly how my husband and I feel about our daughter. Actually, our love for each other is infinite. This edition of Guess How Much I Love You has a red cover and sits right by our bed. The illustrations are soft, humorous and touching. This book has a timeless message and can be enjoyed any time of year by anyone! – Tee

I love everything about being a mom! Mostly watching my babies grow and learn. Seeing them become people and knowing that what I teach them is shaping who they become.

ilove how i know my mom will always be there for me
we didn’t have much money while i was growing up, but i never knew it until i was all grown up. my mom hid it from us well. she has great style, so even tho our clothes came from second hand stores (it wasn’t cool & vintage back then) we always looked great, because she knew what would work for us. i learned how to be a good mom from her, and how to work magic on a budget
I love that my mom is funny and I love having my little ones give me random hugs and tell me they love me.
my mom’s the best, she helps us all out
I love my mom’s sense of style, I always trust her opinion.
I love being a mom because it’s the most rewarding job in the world.
