Wondering what to get Dad or Grandad this year for Father’s Day? I always have a hard time coming up with original gift ideas. Giving photos can get a little old. Every year another framed photo? Boring! The perfect solution to same ole same ole is a photo canvas from Canvas 4 Life.
www.canvas4life.com is easy to navigate and uses a 5 simple step process to create your image on a canvas. All Canvas’s are made from 100% Cotton and printed with HP Vivera ink which is guaranteed for 75 years. The process is easy for just about anyone, upload and order a print.
Step 1 Choose your size: When you upload your photo it uses unique software to determine the best sizes for your image and it’s dimensions. They won’t display sizes which are inappropriate for the quality of your image. This ensures you that there will be no distortion or loss of quality. The available canvas shapes are portrait, square, landscape or panoramic. They range in size from 10”x 12” to 60” x 30”. Prices start at $29.69. A feature that I found very helpful when choosing the size is a virtual living room. Your image is shown above a sofa in your selected size. You can also view the entire living room and add chairs, people lamps and even pets to get a better idea of how the canvas will fit into your room. This is a great tool to determine the best size to order.
Step 2 Choose your color: You can choose to keep your image as is or change it to Black and White or Sepia.
Step 3 Choose your Finish: You can keep it unfinished which is has a Matte look to it or choose, for no additional cost, an extra protective layer in either a Matte or Satin finish. The extra layer helps protect against UV fading and scratches.
Step 4 Choose your depth: Each canvas is mounted onto artist stretcher bars. You can choose a slim frame of .75” or opt for a chunkier size of 1.5”.
Step 5 Choose Bleed or no bleed: Your image can wrap around the the frame or not.
You then have the option of choosing to have the professionals at Canvas 4 Life make adjustments to your photo. Adjustments include image enhancement and red eye removal.
Canvas 4 Life generously let me create my own canvas print to review. I chose a recent close-up that I took of my daughter, Adeline. I uploaded the image and went through all the steps. I chose a 30 x 20 to keep my original color, the smaller frame size of .75”, to have the image bleed to wrap around my frame with a Matte finish. Even though I couldn’t see any imperfections in the image I had them check it over with their image enhancement software. The canvas retail value was $98.99.
I was delighted when my canvas arrived less than a week later! I was very impressed with the speedy delivery time. I figured free shipping would mean a longer wait! The print looks amazing. The colors are vibrant and matched my digital image. The canvas print wraps perfectly around the frame. Although there aren’t hangers on the back you can easily hang it by the frame. The high superb high quality means that this print will last!

That came out gorgeous! What a great gift idea. It really is a stunning piece.
I am amazed how reasonable the prices are – I was totally expecting the cost to be well over $200!! I am for sure going to take advantage of the
10% off discount. I’m thinking of getting 3 smaller ones to hang in a row, maybe a series of action shots? Thank you so much for your awesome finds!!
