I was invited to visit the set on the Universal Studios lot to watch a taping, and chat with David and Marcus. Walking around the Fiona’s kitchen set, I immediately noticed her tea collection and love of chicken decor. Will’s apartment is extremely different from Fiona’s. The staircase design alone reflects their bohemian versus modern styles and personality traits. I sat in the famous dumbwaiter where many pop-up banter scenes take place, and then dropped by the exterior set – stood in the backyard where neighbors Will and Benjamin first meet. It was a treat having the opportunity to spend time in San Francisco and watch the cast and crew at work. The Universal Studios Tour drives by the homes if you’re interested in getting a glimpse of the set!
