Paramount is bringing the popular children’s animated series, “The PAW Patrol,” to the big screen later this year. Your kids’ favorite first responding canines will have to contend with the bureaucracy of their rival, Humdinger, who starts to wreck havoc on Adventure City. And now we are getting a new look at what kind of havoc to expect in a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette.
While I’m not overly familiar with the show’s success, I can see how “The Paw Patrol: The Movie” will be a huge hit with the kids as the trailer teases plenty of family-friendly fun and very cute animal faces. Who wouldn’t want to cuddle with a pack of dogs who look that adorable?
Here’s the official plot synopsis:
The PAW Patrol is on a roll! When their biggest rival, Humdinger, becomes Mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts wreaking havoc, Ryder and everyone’s favorite heroic pups kick into high gear to face the challenge head on. While one pup must face his past in Adventure City, the team finds help from a new ally, the savvy dachshund Liberty. Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW Patrol fights to save the citizens of Adventure City! Joining the PAW Patrol in their thrilling first big screen adventure are members from the original series’ cast along with Iain Armitage, Marsai Martin, Yara Shahidi, Kim Kardashian West, Randall Park, Dax Shepard, with Tyler Perry and Jimmy Kimmel and introducing Will Brisbin.
Based on the popular show of the same name, PP: The Movie stars Tyler Perry, Kim Kardashian West, Yara Shahidi, Randall Park, Dax Shepard, and Jimmy Kimmel.
Directed by Cal Brunker, from a screenplay written by Billy Frolick and Cal Brunker & Bob Barlen, The Paw Patrol: The Movie, hits theaters on August 20, 2021.
