Watch and the new trailer for HALLOWEEN KLILLS
If the “Halloween” sequels tells us anything, it’s that Michael Myers cannot be killed so easily. While Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) thought she had killed the man in the dirty white mask by trapping him in her basement and burning him alive, she is distraught to see the fire department race to the scene to put out the house fire. As such, Myers escapes from his hellish fate and takes out his rage on the Haddoenfeld FD.
With a mass murderer out on the loose and killing everyone in his path, Laurie inspires the town to take up arms and defend themselves or die trying. And while the odds look like they are against Michael Myers, never count that guy out.
2018’s “Halloween Kills” gave depth to Laurie’s character as it explored her isolation from the world because of her trauma. But the reality of it all was that she was protecting her family by preparing for Michael Myers’ inevitable return. And now that he’s back, we are going to see how Haddoenfeld rallies behind her because the night of bloodshed isn’t over.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for “Halloween Kills:”
In 2018, David Gordon Green’s Halloween, starring icon Jamie Lee Curtis, killed at the box office, earning more than $250 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing chapter in the four-decade franchise and setting a new record for the biggest opening weekend in history for a horror film starring a woman.
And the Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet.
Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.
But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.
Evil dies tonight.
Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann and Anthony Michael Hall also star.
Directed by David Gordon Green, using a script written by Scott Teems & Danny McBride & David Gordon Green, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, “Halloween Kills” opens in theaters on October 15, 2021.
