We test drove a Mazda CX-9 Signature for review purposes.
We will be in the market to purchase a car this year and it’s really important for us to get the best car for the best deal. Life in Los Angeles means that we rely heavily on our cars on a day to day basis. Sitting in traffic, getting from point a to b can definitely put some wear and tear on a vehicle and add significant stress to our lives. We need something reliable, comfy and features for everyone in our family that cuts back on our stress.
We recently test drove the Mazda CX-9 Signature All Wheel Drive. the Mazda CX-9 is a mid-sized SUV. Our vehicle was fully loaded with a price tag of $47,960. It came equipped with a sunroof, entertainment center, 3 row seats (seats 7), tons of safety features, heated seats and a slew of other bells and whistles. The CX-9 Signature has lane assist features, blind spot monitoring, strong breaks, rear camera. We really love the way handle of the Mazdas I’ve driven. I definitely felt safe driving us around for the week. The CX-9 is attractive and fun to drive.
As a family, we appreciated the ample space in the CX-9 Signature. Often times, we take my daughter and her friends out. There was plenty of leg space and we weren’t disappointed with the leg room in the 3rd row but the 3rd row does create smaller cargo space.
I’d like to say that we are a technology free family on the road but that’s not always realistic. You can only play eye-spy for so long! So, we turned to the Mazda’s infotainment systems. The CX-9 has a user friendly system with a dial system and crisp graphics . I do wish that it was equipped with AppleCarPlay. I like to use my phone’s navigation system vs the Cx-9s navigation system. The sound system cranks and we love to listen to our 80s music on Sirius XM. My daughter always looks forward to an entertainment DVD system in passenger area complete with headphones so he can watch her favorite flicks in the back.
I’m usually the one driving (by choice) and comfort is key for me. The CX-9 handles beautifully, takes corners well whether I’m doing school drop off or taking a long road trip to the desert. I need a vehicle that fits me, isn’t too big or too small, and also looks good inside and out. The Mazda’s leather interior give the CX-9 a luxurious feel.
I definitely recommend test driving the Mazda CX-9 Signature All Wheel Drive for your family. The pricing seems to be competitive and in line with other models in this size point. Families will enjoy all the space and parents will also appreciate the way the vehicle drives.
