Speak to travel representatives from over 250 travel destinations, locally and globally. I’ve been able to learn about so many places to visit and plan to travel to while checking out the show. You can learn travel tips and secrets while speaking with the booth representatives as they will have the local information of the area. One thing I would advise is to go early. The show floor can get a little crowded and you have an easier time conversing with the representatives.
I may have to try out a Sandy Van on my next big cross-state trip as you can purchase or rent one of these comfy, camper-type vans. The one they had on display at last year’s show had a small kitchenette and sleeping area that looked very nice.
You can check out the show specials and show-only deals that some of the booths have as you can book your travel on-site with them. At previous shows, I have seen special discounts on luggage, travel accessories, and cruises. You can see a list of the booths with show specials at this link https://travelshows.com/shows/los-angeles/win-trips-show-specials/.
There are also giveaways and a few activities to do at the show. You can Enter to Win at some of the booths or try climbing a Rock Wall.
The map and the list of exhibitors do show Passport Services, but I am not sure if The Bureau of Consular Affairs – LA Passport Agency will be doing on-site processing of passport applications or renewals, through The Passport Acceptance Program. I’ve seen them there at the previous shows processing applications and had mine done a few years ago. It was so convenient and easy.
I still have to plan a trip to Las Cruces, New Mexico to check out the White Sands National Park. Have to take the tour during sunset as the white sand dunes look so amazing during that time of day. But I think my next trip will be to Dallas, Texas to check out Meow Wolf Grapevine which recently opened.
