For over 20 years the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show has connected 2.7 million travel enthusiasts, 16,500 unique Travel Advisors, and thousands of travel media with more than 5,800 different exhibiting companies from around the world influencing over $7 billion in travel bookings. Join them and hundreds of exhibitors and travel experts at the Los Angeles Convention Center on February 22-23, 2025 for incredible travel programming and destinations.
Learn and discover the latest travel tips, trends, and advice from returning keynote speakers Rick Steves (Travel Writer, Host of Rick Steves’ Europe and Travel with Rick Steves), Pauline Frommer (Editorial Director of the Frommer’s Guides and Publisher of Frommers.com), Peter Greenberg (Emmy Award-Winning Investigative Reporter & Producer & CBS News Travel Editor), and newcomer Josh Gates (Television Presenter-Actor, Producer and Host of The Discovery Channel Series Expedition: Unknown and Legendary Locations).
Listen to speakers and panels or live entertainment throughout the day at one of the four theater stages spread across the show floor.
– Travel Theater. Hear from keynote speakers and travel personalities LIVE from the show floor.
– Destination Theater. Destination-specific sessions that give you the most up-to-date advice on where to go, what to do, how to get there, and how to save.
– Savvy Traveller Theater. Travel like an insider with the latest tips, tricks, and advice from travel experts who live on the road.
– Global Beats Stage. Watch the world come alive and see cultural performances representing different destinations from around the world.
There are two speakers that will be appearing at the Savvy Traveller Theater that I will need to catch for travel points and tips, Eric Rosen from The Points Guy and Angel Castellanos from Angel’s Travel Lounge. The schedule for the Speaker Stages can be found here. The schedule and speakers may change without prior warning.
Speak to travel representatives from over 250 travel destinations, locally and globally, to learn travel tips and secrets as they will have the local information of the area. The one thing I would advise is to go early. The show floor can get a little crowded and you have an easier time conversing with the representatives.
Take advantage of the show-only deals and specials that some of the booths have when you book your travel on-site. There are special discounts on luggage, travel accessories, and cruises. You can see a list of the booths with show specials here.
There are a few activities at the show, like rock wall climbing presented by Visit Yosemite Madera County and the photo booth presented by the Choctaw Country. Also, returning to the show after a few years is The Scuba Show Pool where you can do a trial run in a shallow pool. I did this once many years ago, just before committing myself to taking scuba classes and becoming certified to dive in open water.
Prior to the pandemic, The Bureau of Consular Affairs – LA Passport Agency used to do passport processing on-site at the show, which was so convenient and easy. However, over the past few years since then, they have had limited presence at the show with only application forms and staff available to answer questions at a table.
