It’s the first day of summer. And that means a lot of us are going on vacation, including everyone in the Star Wars universe. But if we’ve learned anything about holidays and time off in that galaxy far, far away, nothing is relaxing. And now we get to see how much action and adventure fun in the sun Finn, Rey, Poe, Rose, Chewie, BB-8, R2-D2, and C-3PO will have in LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation.
Disney released a brand-new trailer for the LEGO Star Wars special, which sees the sequel trilogy crew trying to enjoy some well-deserved time off in the Halcyon, the brand new ultra-luxurious Galactic Starcruiser that Disney opened earlier this year. And while Rey, Poe, Rose, and the droids try to have their fun with food, drinks, and lots of partying, Finn finds himself worrying more about having fun rather than connecting with his friends.
Luckily, he encounters three force ghosts Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Leia Organa, all of whom share their own stories gone awry.
“LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation,” which is set shortly after the events of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, all of whom reprise their roles as Rose Tico, Lando Calrissian, and C-3PO. Helen Sadler as Rey, Omar Miller as Finn, Jake Green as Poe Dameron, and Matthew Wood as Ben Solo are the returning cast members from previous “LEGO Star Wars” specials.
New voice talents include “Weird Al” Yankovic, and Yvette Nicole Brown. The LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation also includes a new original song Scarif Beach Party performed by “Weird Al” Yankovic.

Looking for a much-needed break from stormtroopers and TIE fighters, Finn arranges a surprise vacation for his friends Rey, Poe, Rose, Chewie, BB-8, R2-D2, and C-3PO, aboard the ultra-luxurious Galactic Starcruiser, the Halcyon. But Finn’s plan to have one last hurrah together quickly goes awry when he’s separated from the group. While searching for his friends, he encounters three Force ghosts: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Leia Organa, who each share their own unexpected stories of vacations gone wrong, helping him to understand that holidays are about more than just having fun
