I’m so excited to share that on October 5th, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment releases BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: Diamond Edition on Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack! The first animated film to ever be nominated for an Oscar, it features a cast of top vocal talent. Veteran stage actress and singer Paige O’Hara is the voice of Belle, one of Disney’s most beloved and independent heroines, and Robby Benson (TV’s “American Dreams”) delivers a powerful portrayal of the Beast.
Please stay tuned to my review of the Beauty and the Beast: Diamond Edition On Blu-ray™+ DVD Combo Pack! Can you believe I have never seen this Disney Classic! I’m excited to share this experience with my family! Stay tuned!
In celebration of this release, the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood is premiering the Beauty and the Beast all-new Sing-a-long screening on Saturday, October 2nd at 3:00 PM.

my daughter’s favorite character is Belle, because “she’s pretty”….but for myself it’s Gaston. Hilariously bad….handsome and evil….what’s not to love? ha ha
I tweeted Los Angeles! Win 4 tickets to the Beauty & the Beast Sing-A-Long @ El Capitan on Oct 2nd via @thatsitmommy http://thatsitmommy.com/?p=6534
Our favorite character is Belle. She started off the way we all would when faced with something/someone not-so-pretty, but we loved the way she fell in love with the inner heart~

Great prize for my daughter!

My favorite character is Belle because she liked the beast for what he was on the inside and not by the way he looked. Belle is my daughter’s favorite character too because she is pretty.

We love B&TB! My daughter’s fave is “the candle dude” (Lumiere) because “he’s the funny one.”
Mrs. Potts – She’s just so lovable.
I have to admit I don’t have a favorite character yet since I’ve never seen the movie. But I’m looking forward to watching it with my daughter now that she’s 3. It would be awesome to see it at El Capitan!
I love Chip. He’s so cute and lovable! Such a great contest (and I follow you on Twitter and FB) 🙂
My favorite character is Lumiere…. he is the comic relief and always has me giggling.

Cogsworth because he’s funny.
The Beast.
Cause he looks like a bear.
The Beast, of course! Nothing like a heartbroken man willing to give love a second chance.
My favorite character from Beauty and the Beast is Belle because she saw right passed the beast’s looks and loved him for who he was in the inside.
I am basing this comment on my daughter who loves Beauty, accepting of Beast, because of his kind heart. Can’t tell a book by its cover!
I remember watching this movie and, of course being a little girl, I always loved Belle. When I was younger I loved her because she was beautiful but as I re-watch the movie now I am loving her for whole other reasons. I’m now seeing that Belle is a free-thinker who is not shy or afraid to speak her mind, and she is very compassionate and takes care of those in need (which are all the qualities that I think make up a good person)
Overall Belle is a very wonderful character that little girls should look up to because she has those positive character traits that some of the other Disney characters seem to be missing!

A few weeks ago my 3 year old granddaughter wad playing dress-up. She put on a fancy yellow dress, looked in the mirror and said, “Why…it IS Belle”. So for that reason, it has to be Belle.
My favorite character is Armoire because she holds all of the pretty dresses and is super funny when battling the townspeople. My son likes Cogsworth because he’s funny.
My favorite character is of course Belle!! I love Belle because she reads. I was never very girly growing up and didn’t really get the princess thing until Beauty and the Beast came out. I remember being 16 years old and wanting to finally be a princess. My aunt and I cried at the ending so long the credits finished rolling!! 🙂

Beauty and Chip are my favorites!!
My favorite is the beast – just because it’s a great lesson for the kids – well actually everyone to look past the outside and to get to know someone based on their personality and not looks!
