The L.A. Zoo is getting into the Halloween spirit with a series of drive-in movie events in October.
Each weekend will have a different theme and runs from Oct. 16 to Nov. 1. The themes will be “Animal Adventures,” “The Brilliant Betty White” and “Hair-Raising Halloween.”

Gates open at 6 p.m. for the first two weekends. Pre-show entertainment features animals and trivia games. The first movie starts at 8 p.m.
The costs for the first two weekends are $40 per vehicle with up to two people, $50 per vehicle with three or more people with membership, and $55 per vehicle with three or more people with general admission.
For the final weekend of the series is a four-day event starting Oct. 29 with classic Halloween movies. Gates open at 6 p.m. and movies start at 8:30 for the final weekend. Prices for the final weekend are $100 per vehicle with up to two people, $125 for vehicles with three or more people with membership, $140 for vehicles with three or more people with general admission.
