The next chapter in the dragon riders of Berk continues with “Dragons Rescue Riders: Hunt for the Golden Dragon” on Netflix on March 27.
Dak, Leyla and the Rescue Riders embark on a new adventure when greedy pirates find a map leading to the coveted Golden Dragon’s nest. The Rescue Riders are tasked with beating the pirates to the nest and saving the precious dragon’s egg.
Emmy Award winner Jack Thomas is the executive producer of the Netflix special. Brian Roberts is the co-executive producer.
The series features the voice talents of Nicolas Cantu from “The Amazing World of Gumball and “Lego Star Wars” as Dak, Brennley Brown, a semifinalist on “The Voice” and from “Sofia the First,” as Leyla, Carlos Alazraqui from “Happy Feet” and “Inside Out” as Guggard, Moira Quirk from “Skyrim” and “The Wild Thornberrys” as Hannahr, Roshon Fegan from “Shake It Up” and “Camp Rock” as Elbone and Brad Grusnick from “Bunnicula” and “Bioshock Infinite” as Magnus Finke.
The young dragons are voiced by Marasi Martin as Aggro, Zach Callison as Winger, Skai Jackson as Summer, Noah Bentley as Burple and Andre Robinson as Cutter.
