The Aquarium of the Pacific is asking for people to dive into the content it is offering on its website. The Aquarium Online Academy offers a variety of ways to access features the aquarium makes available for visitors.
From on-demand videos to virtual classroom sessions, the Aquarium Online Academy has something for kindergarteners to high school students.
For example, the Aquarium Live feature offers on-demand videos of animals at the aquarium. Live video feeds allow viewers to watch penguins, sharks and sea jellies among other sea life.
The guest speaker series features artists, scientists and journalists providing lectures on a variety of topics, from ocean research to conservation and nature. There are archived lectures dating back to 2010.
The aquarium’s YouTube channel has hundreds of episodes of forums, music and animal videos.
The online learning center features profiles of animals at the aquarium. Online exhibits allow visitors to experience some of the interactive features, like listening to whale sounds, offered at the aquarium.
